1. About these terms

These Terms of Service apply to your use of spookythistle.com and any purchase you make from it. The site is operated by Spooky Thistle, a business based in Georgia, USA.

By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. Our mascot

Thistle is a fictional ghost who "haunts" our website. She is a mascot and brand character, not a real person, and she does not write, sell, or ship anything. Any messages sent through the site are read and answered by our team.

3. Products, descriptions, and photos

We prepare our product descriptions ourselves. Product photos come from us, from the makers and suppliers of the items, or from both. We try to describe and show every product accurately, but colors may look different on different screens, handmade items vary slightly from piece to piece, and sizes are approximate. If you think a listing is wrong, please tell us.

4. Pricing and pricing errors

Prices are in US dollars. We work to keep prices and stock information accurate, but errors can happen. If we find a pricing or availability error on an order you've placed, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, or contact you to confirm whether you'd like to proceed at the correct price.

5. Orders and payment

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline it, for example if an item is out of stock or we suspect fraud. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We don't store your full card number.

6. Shipping and returns

Our Shipping & Returns page is part of these terms and explains processing times, carriers, return eligibility, and refunds.

7. Accounts

If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login details private and for activity under your account. Please give us accurate information. We may suspend or close accounts that are misused.

8. Adult and mature content

Some items we sell, including certain tarot and oracle decks, contain artistic nudity. By ordering, you confirm you are at least 18 or are buying with a parent or guardian's permission, and that you're comfortable receiving such material.

9. Candles, fire, and safe use

Any item that involves flame, smoke, heat, or burning (candles, incense, smudging supplies, and similar) must be used with care, away from flammable materials, and never left unattended. Soaps and bath products should be patch-tested if you have sensitive skin or allergies; check the listed ingredients before use. Metaphysical and divination products are sold for entertainment, inspiration, and personal reflection. They are not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or mental health advice.

10. Intellectual property

The Spooky Thistle name, logo, mascot artwork, site design, and our original text and images belong to us. Product names, artwork, and trademarks of makers and publishers belong to their respective owners. Please don't copy or reuse our content without written permission.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Spooky Thistle is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product at issue. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that can't be waived.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when the current version took effect. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
